Yesterday I went on a really nice walk/hike near my house. So I took a couple or so photos. The weather was absolutely divine. The sun was warm but the air was cool. I should really go there more often. I sit around on my computer way too much haha. 

These past couple days have been so grand, but at the same time stressful and annoying. I have no idea how that works haha.

Berry Berry Citrus Smoothie

Here's a recipe I made for a smoothie - which I find to be very delicious.

Ingredients needed:

3/4 cups fresh Raspberries

3 big fresh Strawberries

1 banana

5 scoops of Pomegranate/Blueberry sherbet

1 1/2 cups low-fat milk

1 1/2 tbsp honey

1/2 cup orange juice

3 tbsp vanilla yogurt (optional, its to thicken it)

You can add as much fresh fruit as you'd like - this is just what I used in my smoothie. Which served approximately 2 people. You can also use whatever ice cream/sherbet you want to use. I used trader Joe's Pomegranate Blueberry Sherbet (which is heavenly).

It came out pretty thin so add yogurt or your thickener of choice for more of a thick smoothie.

I added orange juice last minute to the smoothie because I felt like it needed citrus. Which made a huge difference.

My brother was weird and wanted the smoothie in a wine glass. And if you know me I love to add paper umbrellas to everything edible. The recipe made more than this, I just wanted to use a small glass so I put the rest of the smoothie in another bigger glass. That smoothie was good haha.

I used a food processor which was very messy, I wish I remembered we had a blender.

Rainbow Shoes

 So these are my newest shoes! They were originally white shoes, but I dyed them. I thought they were cute shoes, and I'm always looking for more sneakers, so I bought them. For only $19 - what a steal for these adorable shoes! But yet they were hella boring as far as the colouring goes. And I adore tie dye, or a tie dye 'look'.

I don't know if you can really tell here, but I messed up MAJORLY on the green..don't even ask what happened. I just made it into shit. Except it doesn't look as bad as I dreaded it would. Just a pukey looking green I'd say.

It was my father's birthday in the beginning of this month so this is his cake. My family should know that they can't trust me putting candles on a cake. Because I will - I repeat, I will - put little umbrellas on it. I should be a professional cake designer, yo.

I hope everyone is enjoying 2013 as much as I really am! Its been pretty rad lately. I love the new year. Its so refreshing. Have a beautiful day!

Stella also took a couple photos of me holding Amadeus haha - he's such a cuddler.

I actually got two kittens, though. Loki and Amadeus. But Loki really hates having his photograph taken so I don't have any photos of him on my camera. Kind of sucks because he's just as adorable as his brother, Amadeus. They're four months old and incredibly cute. Except they like to walk all over my keyboard will I'm typing. I just love cats. Watch, I'll be a crazy cat lady. I swear.

This is my dear friend Gaby. I have a couple photos of her in this photo set. I kept out the goofy ones, haha I think she'll appreciate that.

She was very intrigued by the beautiful flowers. I wish I knew what type of flowers they were...

Gaby's jewelry is always so rad. I might steal it all one night when she's asleep haha.

Expect sunlight photos...

I liked this little bridge - so I thought to make a blurry bokeh version of the photo. Its quite enchanting, isn't it? Or maybe I'm just crazy.

I think it's going to be tradition now. Gaby and I go take photos on December 31st every year as of last year. Short but sweet. Compared to last year, my camera equipment has severely advanced. A year ago I had a tiny compact FujiFilm FinePix camera. Now I have an DSLR.

But what's even crazier - is how everything changes. I was such a different person last year. My hair was still brown and I acted different. The situations that I've been in in 2012 I never thought I'd end up in. My world just flipped upside down within a year or less. I know its already 2013 and I'm writing this, but it gives me a clearer view on the whole entire year. 

Overall, I believe 2012 was rather swell to me, though. Or maybe just bittersweet.
